This session will give you an overview about the Productivity and Innovation Credit (PIC) Scheme.
The PIC aims at supporting the company’s investments in innovation and productivity increases. Businesses can get tax deductions up to S$ 9,6 million per year and cash payouts up to S$ 120, 000 per year based on their investments for eligible activities covering the purchasing and leasing of IT and automation equipment, training, IP acquisition and registration, R&D and Design.
During this session, we will present the latest PIC updates in line with the 2014 budget announcement, we will share with you a few tips to optimize and secure your PIC, and last but not least we will discuss how you can leverage on the PIC to grow your business!

About the Speakers:

Jean-Baptiste Morin is graduated with a Master Degree of Sciences in Engineering from French Grande Ecole ENSTA Bretagne since 2009. After having worked for more than 2 years GAC in France and mastered the French R&D Tax Credit, he spent two years in an Indonesian University as a lecturer for students and an innovation consultant for the university’s directorate. Convinced that Southeast Asia and especially Singapore is becoming a very promising hub for innovation, the end of his Indonesian duties matched with significant growth of GAC in Singapore. Jean-Baptiste is now financing innovation consultant for GAC in Singapore and Productivity and Innovation Credit (PIC) expert.
Christelle Gervasoni is graduated with a Master Degree in Agricultural and Environmental Engineering from French Grande Ecole AgroSup Dijon since 2008. She has worked on technology transfer issues and challenges both in France and Singapore. She has worked with the European Chamber of Commerce in the EU-Singapore FTA and CSR in Singapore. Then, she has joined the science and higher education section of the Embassy of France in Singapore to develop Franco-Singaporean research collaborations and to provide strategic analysis about R&D, technologies, innovation and related financing opportunities. She has joined GAC in 2012 as Business Development Manager and she is in charge of GAC Group office in Singapore.
